Bought this one and the other hannah and the 7 dresses. Gave my niece hannah them. Bought her 7 dresses for the 1st book and this one put art supplies like they had in the book, buttons, yarn etc.
Enjoyed the illustrations. Fun for kids to search for things throughout the pages in the pile of collections shown.
I bought this book for my grandson who has Sensory Processing Disorder. He loves to collect things, so I thought it would be good for him to see his hobby in a book. He enjoyed the book, but I was disappointed in the ending. Good for teaching classifying and choice making.
The preschool at which I am a teacher has the 4-year-olds do a Collections Project every year. We launch the unit with this book, which is perfect for showing children what a collection is and what types of items one might collect. I already own the book, so my recent purchase was to buy a copy for the school.
Cute story! I like giving 'Hannah' books to my granddaughter Hannah.
My 4 year old daughter loved this book. It really inspired her to start her own collections. It does spark creativity and looking at what could be mundane items as something interesting unto themselves. The book is done in an unusual montage illustration style, combining cut paper illustrations and photos of real objects. The story is about Hannah, a little girl who is supposed to bring in a collection for show and tell at school. She has so many collections, she can't choose which one to bring. It is a cute book for 4-5 year olds.
