Through easy, detailed paragraphs, the authors breaks down the study of stoicism how it applies to our life, and the history of the subject and how ancient philosophers studied it. The book does give an excellent concise definition and explanation. Overall, I think this is a great purchase as an overview into a philosophy that is worth as much consideration today as it did in the midst of the forum’s of old.
