This is the old Lewis Carol Bach book, in the same order, that American pianists grew up with. Carol's fingerings are included. HOWEVER, it must be remembered that Bach wrote almost no fingerings in his music. First - he knew that fingering is adjusted for the hand and the movement required. Second - who wants to dip and write, dip and write with a quill pen more than is necessary? And no dumb pictures. How can we dispense with such a collection?Arlene Bodmer Harouff

I'm in my early twenties and have never had a formal lesson. I really wanted to get into the piano but, I was having a hard time practicing when all I had to look forward to were titles such as "Hot Cross Buns" and "When the Saints..."This book was very refreshing! I've only began on the first song "Minuet" but so far I'm in love and actually enjoy practicing the piano now.

What more could anyone expect? However, I must refute a review I read. Someone stated that a student would be ready for this resource after completing level 1 - NOT! that is completely erroneous unless you want all of your early elementary students to quit out of frustration!

Of Course it's not Urtext people, it's highly edited. But let's be real. The little kids that will use this in my teaching studio are beginners and they need things like slurs and fingerings and dynamics. They don't know how this music should sound. They are too busy listening to the jingles of Taylor Swift to know how to shape a 4 bar phrase or even what that is. I like this simple big note edition for my baby pianists.

I played piano for my entire childhood and adolescence, but gave it up over ten years ago now. I am trying to teach myself how to play again, and this book has been a great re-introduction. The songs are simple and accessible, but not "mary had a little lamb" or "when the saints go marching in," which is what you'll find even in the alfred's adult beginner books...I'd even venture to say that some of the songs are quite beautiful. That said, the level is a bit more advanced than the Alfred's beginner books, so if it's your first go-round with piano, I might still start there.I'm also trying to learn theory, and the simplicity of these songs makes them pretty easy to analyze - although the theory is not always that obvious for a beginner.I'd also recommend "Twenty Easy and Progressive Studies for the Piano", which is for a similar level, but the theory is more obvious, so you can go through and see why certain songs use certain notes. The songs aren't as nice, but they're still enjoyable to play and you don't feel like *such* an idiot when the downstairs neighbors hear you practicing. :)

I needed a reference for all the titles available from Patterson. I have read a lot of them through the years. I would have liked something about the book under the title. I would recommend to anyone new to James Patterson or someone like me trying to catch up with new titles.

I don’t like looking at other books, I can do that on my own. Did I start reading James Patterson books? No .99 cents is a waste of money. I just want read a book not spend 15 mins what others write. Dumb

The Alex Cross Series is very entertaining and the books hard to stop reading. Involvement with the characters and story line is superb. Can't wait to read the whole series!

Not what I expected.

Very helpful, easy to use

It helps me keep track of what I have read.

Difficult to use and not able to print the list, which is what I wanted todo so that I could check off the novels I had read so that I would not buy one again that I had already read. I read 72 books last year and keeping track of which book I have read is not easy, which is why I wanted to print a list that I could keep by my computer. If I had been able to do that, this would be a 5-star product. Just a reminder that THIS IS NOT A BOOK BUT A LISTING ON THE PUBLISHER'S WEBSITE.

The attention to detail and overall imagery of the world unfolding around me was so captivating that I could not put these books down. I also really appreciated the fact that Maxine is not perfect, she's flawed and has multiple, sometimes crippling, vices just like the rest of us. But after [several] missteps and failures, she falteringly begins her long trek down the road to redemption. Because Maxine has a secret, and she must cast aside her self-doubt and shortcomings if she wants to keep that secret protected from her many enemies that would exploit it. The question remains, however: is she strong enough to survive the journey?

Kept me captivated. Looking forward to reading her other series. I do wonder if any more will come out to explain what happens next

With this set, I am happy that I could settle down with a warm blanket and a cup of tea on my comfy couch and devour the pages. I am sooo enjoying this series. I didn’t read these as a box set but got them individually. This was the first series I read by this author and it got me hooked for her stories!I feel like it had the right amount of action, mystery and of course theres always a love story in the mix.

Since this book is called Leather Jewelry, I was hoping for more projects of wearable jewelry. Yes, there are some good basic instructions, but I was looking for more information on making current styles. As with any craft book, there are assorted project instructions, some appeal, some do not. Of course it is always possible to adjust to available materials and personal taste, but I do not feel that luggage tags and eyeglass cases are jewelry. I do not think that I am going to cut up a cowboy boot to make a cellphone case. I have used some of the instructions to make a few bracelets, but it will be a while before I purchase the specialized leathermaking tools for some of the projects. Not bad, but it could have been better if there was more wearable jewelry, less silly crafts.

I bought this book hoping it would help me incorporate leather into my jewelry-making and based on good reviews. While there are a few helpful points, which I will use, overall this book was disappointing. It is focused on teaching the reader how to make the author's jewelry, a style that does not appeal to me. This book would be good for a teenager interested in making some low-cost and fun things for their friends. I was hoping for something more technical. Also, the binding on my copy was annoyingly tight - I struggled to keep pages open while I read.

Fantastic ideas throughout this book. If you are making jewelry for yourself, these are simple ideas to start with. If you are making jewelry to sell, there are many ideas for simple to make and embellish your way projects for resale. It gave me a real creative burst with just how many things you can do with leather, I burn leather and wood, and this book has given me plenty of ideas about how to jazz up my work.

The questions and explanations were great. I found this book very helpful in preparing for the exam - great results. My friend gave me great advice when she recommended it as THE study tool. Very satisfied with the book. Use it to pass the exam.

I just took my CLEP Biology exam yesterday and walked away with the score of 62 and did not even finish a quarter of this book.Please don't trust those reviews saying this book is great, useful, blah blah blah, those reviews are fraudulent.This book contain too many advanced concepts that are not even covered in CLEP.Unless you are weak on the three following chapters, do NOT buy this book:1.6 Photosynthesis2.1 Energy Flow, Nutrient Cycles, Ecosystems, Biomes4.1 Plants: Structure, Function, ReproductionOnly questions in these three chapters in the book are corresponded to CLEP exam level.Even you are trying to master the CLEP exam, this book won't help much, since there are too many advanced level knowledge to cover in a CLEP exam.

Questions were a great source of practice. My teacher recommended this book as some of his former students had used the book with great results in the past. I am very happy with my test results and thank this book for being ready for the exam. I practiced some questions within their topic and then mix questions closer to test day to be ready for the actual test. The explanations let me learn a lot of biology to build on, what i thought, was my strong foundation. Practice went well and test results were great. Thanks!

When they say "High Yield" they mean it. I have a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, so I have had college level Biology, Chemistry, and Botany in classes designed for science majors. I bought this book for my daughter to prepare for the Biology CLEP test, but it appears that the questions are much more detailed than the types of questions that are common on the CLEP. I couldn't answer half of them and my daughter would find them unintelligible. I need a book of common type questions, not the 10% of the questions that sort out the adequately knowledgeable from the geniuses. If you need to ace the test for some reason and you are amazingly well prepared, this might be the book for you, but if you are a non-science major--try another option. By the way, the SAT Biology book by this company is the same book as this. It certainly doesn't cover high school biology.

Detailed solutions let me know ways to save time solving problems and arrive at the right answers. Less time and better results. Chapters let me focus on practicing concepts needed for CLEP. This book is the equivalent of going into my head and unscrewing and taking all the things I have desperately tried to get my fiance (who comes from a relatively healthy family) to understand - and then putting them both on the table and saying how to get over them. Even the language I have used in trying to combat dysfunctional behavior is in this book - Like desperately wanting to be "seen." And not living in the present, because of this one. I have read a lot of books, I have gone to alot of, and have tried alot of therapist, by far this is one of best resources I have come across. The commandments are worth the price alone.

I am currently in Lisa's 12 week program and this is an excellent work book to use with the course. Even if I weren't in the course, this book would be an excellent resource and life saver for anyone who is currently codependent. The tools and information are invaluable! One of my best purchases in my life.

I have read all of Lisa A Romano's books to date. I love her style of writing because it is as if she is talking directly to me as I read the words off the page. I highly recommend her work, her YouTube Channel is amazing! Her teachings are phenomenal and she has helped me to see that I too am more than enough! If you ever feel unseen, unheard, and dismissed in life than her work is for you!As children growing up in the 60s and 70s the motto was that children are to be seen and not heard and unfortunately many of us came from homes like that and we didn't receive the sincere validation that has human beings is so vitally important for our development as kids.Lisa walks you through her journey, through the muck and the mire and then she takes you on a journey of recovery. This brilliant book is for anyone and everyone who has ever asked themselves why is my life not exactly how I imagined it even though I am a good person and hard worker. And for those who haven't asked that question, this book is the best in helping move away the cobwebs of the mind that prevent us from having true clarity and ownership of our true, authentic selves. Not whoooeeeooo spooky spiritual, Lisa A Romano has compiled 20 plus years of her own experience and has outlined a program that allows us to fearlessly face ourselves in order to become the best we can be. This book is for everyone. It's the best investment I've made in myself in a long, long time. I highly recommend this book.
